Nice, sounds like a good unit from the reviews online. I’m about finished up with the welding work on my Fiat, but am hoping to upgrade the welder afterwards for future projects... I think it was a 140T I rented from Home Depot before buying a crappy HF one to finish up the project... which definitely worked better than the alternating current 90A flux core welder I picked up.

biggest problem I’ll run into is the power requirement most likely— I’ll have to look into whether the outlets I have in the house are 15A or 30A; unfortunately the carport is about a 100 foot stretch from the only 220V outlet in the house.

Nice :) are you able to get to the other side of them? If so it’s a good idea to paint that area as a lot of people neglect the other side of welded in patches which just rust through again...

My secret? I take a autobody class so I have access to pretty much everything i would need. Although everything I did was with hand tools and a metal brake.
